He was also a charismatic and visionary nobleman known for his ability to connect with others emotionally. But the years of relentless conflict took their toll turning the once idealistic warrior into a twisted killer who takes pleasure from the suffering of others. His dark rebirth has refined his cruder desires and predilections to a razor's edge. He is seductive and manipulative, but displays an antique honor which commands respect and fear from those around him.
History: Gilles de Rais, born around 1405 in Champtoheed and convicted in 1440, sentenced to death by hanging, and his body was partially burned at the stake. Gilles de Rais is remembered as one of history's most notorious serial killers and a figure of medieval legend.
