Pavel Bozhidar
Description: Pavel is a 45 year old representative in the National Assembly; he is in his fourth term, up for re-election in 2018. He is the eldest son of one of the wealthier noble families of Bulgaria.
Background: Since the fall of communism, he and his family are once more a part of the national political scene, though their aristocratic land owning days are behind them. They are making a reasonable attempt to join the modern political process and Pavel is their family’s big investment. If he fails to remain a popular candidate or falls prey to some political scandal, then the Bozhidar family’s political ambitions will have to wait a generation.
Brian first met Pavel ten years ago, at a political dinner at which he gave a speech. Brian has met with him several times since then and Pavel has been courting Brian as a major campaign contributor.
