Sobriquet: My Prince or Your Grace

Appearance: Sabastian looks to be in his mid-thirties. Handsome by some standards, he stands 5' 8 tall but he is very strong build. Black hair and dark brown eyes, he still has a hint of Mediterranean complexation that speaks of his mortal life.

Behavior: Toc speaks in a very straight forward manner. He is polite and speaks with a slight Italian accent.

History: Sebastian di Vezzani was born in 1694, the son of Corsican peasants, a middle child who struggled ceaselessly to escape the oppressive domination of his older siblings and to steal what little food and attention he could from his parents rather seeing it all given to those younger than himself. Being born into inescapable poverty, filth and hunger, the young Sebastian had to become self-reliant in order to survive and quite ruthless in order to gain those things necessary to reach adulthood.

Generally underrated by both his father, a peasant of no particular education or intelligence, and his older brothers who wanted no extra rivals, Sebastian often felt inadequate and overcompensated to a dangerous degree. This led to costly mistakes and to serious sibling rivalries that ultimately resulted in the death of his next eldest brother and the collective resentment of his family. Thereafter Sebastian was rather cruelly nicknamed Tornincasa, a term for a boy born into a family directly after the death of a previous son and means "the one who returns." Normally such epithets are positive sobriquet, but in this instance it was more a matter of a bad penny turning up when least wanted.

For the next few years Tornincasa ate with the pigs, slept with the dogs and gained only negative attention from family members who used him as a scapegoat until he was old enough to become an actual villain. During these years Corsica lay under the dominion of an alternating array of either Genoese or French nobles who held marginal mastery over the Corsican land and people by controlling a series of networked castles and crushing dissent in coastal towns through the application of mercenaries. It was not uncommon for there to be uprisings among the poor egalitarian minded Corsicans to the high-handed edicts of whichever overlord felt the need to trample local sentiments or through the raising of intolerably high taxes upon those barely able to feed their families.

Tornincasa was twelve years old when the next such uprising came and his father left with the other men of the village of Vezzani to end the excesses of a new Genoese lord. At this point Sebastian was large enough to steal food or toys from his younger sibling and wily enough to taunt and actually threaten his older siblings if he caught them alone. Sebastian's eldest brother as the head of household in his father's absence set a trap for Tornincasa and after a sound beating and over the objections of his mother took the boy to the nearest port town and sold him to a ship's captain for an equal weight in goods.

As it turned out, the ship was a Turkish merchantman and its captain an educated man took to domesticating the savage young Corsican as ship's boy. This turn of events was by no means an ideal situation for Sebastian, but it offered opportunities for a trade, the learning of new languages and most importantly the lesson of learning to work as a man with other men. Alternatively, living aboard a merchant ship came with cramped quarters, bad food, brutal discipline and the sexual attentions of a crew who often spent months at sea. But aboard ship as upon the family farm Sebastian proved himself resourceful and when necessary savage, he also learned to cultivate alliances and to eliminate or bribe potential enemies.

For ten years Sebastian served aboard the Turkish merchantman, being too savage to hold the position of ship's boy for more than a few years, and then advancing to deck-hand and finally to petty officer. In the ship's captain Evren Karga, Sebastian found a mentor if not a father and there was a greater fondness between them than any long ago love Sebastian had felt for his peasant family. Despite this Sebastian felt the weight of a long unrealized need for revenge and took leave of Evren Karga on the coast of his native Corsica.

Toc was one of the leaders of the Anarches of San Francisco in simpler days but survived the purge that killed a great deal of the elders and found himself to be one of the most powerful left.

Recent Events: Toc has risen to the Princedom in the last 6 months. He is still building the classic Camarilla social structure.

Demonstrated Abilities: Toc has show ability with all the Brujah disciplines as well as Auspex and Dominate. He has influence in the media and police.
