The Nature of Edach Kodesh
All the traditional rules that bind the Pageant together come to a stand still here.
Here there is no Weirdling Wall, here there is no bargain with Namrael to protect the members.
All the bargains with Carna are suspended. There is no supernatural help here, there is only heat, fear, and death.
That is the nature of Erdach Kodesh.

Day
Night
Eradach Kodesh is a desert world with two moons and two suns. Nights and days are 40 to 60 hours long. The smaller moon (Keresese Hold, or Searching Moon) races across the sky about 6 hours at a time. The larger moon (Figylese Hold, or Watching Moon) takes approximately 30 hours to cross.
The larger sun (Boontetese or Punishing sun) takes from 40 to 60 hours to cross the sky depending on time of year. The smaller sun (Megolte a Naapot, or killing sun traverses the sky every 4 to 8 hours depending on the time of year.

History
Prehistory
When the Universe was created one of the first worlds created was the Heimur Byrjunar. Giants and Gods were born here, battles fought here. The primeval forces explored their powers and learned what it meant to be beings with no constraints on what was possible. The primeval forces did unspeakable things, created horrid monsters, twisted the elements of the world into vile caricatures of their former nature. Flowers became slithering beasts, the basic rules of reality were not yet a boundary but an idea. The worms that benefited the earth became roiling destroyers of cities and crops. The varieties of sentient beings that inhabited the world became feral and vicious, becoming mostly roving bands of cannibalistic scavengers.
The elder forces twisted and ground the umbra around the world trying to establish the foothold of a single pantheon to rule the universe. After a millennia the magic here was so tainted, so corrupt that in order to keep it from flowing into the rest of the umbra the elder powers came together to block out it's effects on the rest of the universe. With the withdrawal of the powers that be, the world slowly collapsed and became an unending desert under the twin suns and moons that orbited it's sky. Some mages found a way to sustain small places, that over the aeons have closed into small oasis of safety and water.
When the White Priests first doubted Carna, one of the priests found an ancient codex describing the world Heimur Byrjunar. He tried to scare the rest into renewed piety by opening the way to Heimur Byrjunar to show them a world without Carna. The Priests traveled there and wandered it's deserts for more than a year, meeting it's denizens and losing many faithful. Those that survived came to call it Erdach Kodesh, "Abandoned by Gods". Eventually they found a way back to Earth outside the city of Tsev Fuabtis. Erdach Kodesh became the land of nightmares and attempts at the claiming of power within the Pageant. Times of physis often lead to a return to Erdach Kodesh.
