Johann Santos Ventrue arrives in St. Louis, 1789. The Mokole' Jacques Belanger kills the ferry operator. His wife sells the ferry business to a front company of Johann, who systematically watches who comes and goes across the ferry. Any kindred who cross here have to give a minor boon to Johann.
