Supernatural Merits & Flaws

1-5 points (Dark Ages Mage)

You suffer from a magical prohibition of sorts.
The exact nature varies; perhaps salt burns your skin,
or perhaps a sprig of mistletoe drives you away. See
Chapter One for a discussion of the superstitions of
the Dark Medieval; many of the notions found there
would be appropriate for a witchwalk. The severity
of the witchwalk is determined by the number of
bonus points granted.

Point value Example
1 - Your skin is unnaturally pale (a sign of heresy in many places).
2 - A slight breeze follows you wherever you go.
3 - Consecrated ground burns your feet (you take no actual damage but remain in great pain as long as you walk on hallowed ground).
4 - You cast no shadow.
5 - Throwing salt over the shoulder wards a person from your magic for a full day, and if salt touches your skin you suffer an unsoakable health level of lethal damage.
