Sobriquet:

Appearance: Elizabeth Rotari is a lithe, athletic woman in her late twenties or early thirties. She has shoulder-length brown hair, matching eyes, and a ready smile. she usually wears a Bohemian Poet's black turtleneck and jeans, unadorned by anything, including makeup. On formal occasions, she can dress as well as most of her clan-mates.

Behavior: Decades of having everything she loves analyzed and torn apart by harpies has given Elizabeth a cynical, almost bitter veneer. In social situations, she is unwilling to reveal weakness, and, like any good harpy, goes on the offensive rather than allow herself to be exposed. With her few friends, she remains open and compassionate, though as her humanity ebbs, such moments of vulnerability become more rare.

History: Elizabeth was a child of the sexual revolution and the seventies. She was intensely curious, and constantly sticking her nose into new situations, though she managed to avoid the worst through a combination of luck and common sense. Her open mike poetry chronicled her experiences, and earned her a small following of fans, including the Toreador Primogen. She was embraced in 1975 in a short ceremony before the Toreador of Manhattan.

Elizabeth became involved in the active defense of New York, her Celerity and Auspex providing a good compliment to the Ventrue's fortitude and numbers. She rode the line between thrill-seeking and burning out, and continued to use her poetry as an outlet, airing the sins of her tortured soul for all to hear. The Toreador appreciate her gift for verse, and appreciate her lineage, but hold her at arms length. She sacrificed her humanity for their benefit, but all they remember is that she has lead more than a few friends and associates to their death.

Since the end of the Siege, Elizabeth has become involved in humanitarian efforts, attempting to recover her humanitas, and again earning the derision of her fellow Toreador. Her insatiable curiosity keeps her active, and sticking her nose into the affairs of her fellow Kindred and the mortal elite of New York alike. In truth, she is searching for a cause.

Ironically, Elizabeth has more in common with Qadir Al - Asmai, who replaced her martyred sire as Primogen. While she is not the soldier the Indian is, both realize that their clan's focus on the effete is merely an effort to hide from the ugly truths in life.

During the siege, Elizabeth learned as much as she could, acquiring disciplines from most of the Camarilla clans, including a smattering of Thaumaturgy.

Recent Events:

Associates
Elizabeth gets along better with members of other clans better than she does with her clanmates. She has friends throughout New York, and corresponds with and occasionally visits many of the kindred who passed through the city on their way to other locations.

In Another Life

During the fall of New York, Elizabeth's sire was killed by the Sabbat. She fled with a young, idealistic and angry Gangrel, traveling the world, and damaging the Sabbat and other "bad guys" as they saw them, whenever the opportunity presented. Eventually, their passion cooled, but not their friendship. They became involved in the nascent League of the Night as Knights. Their duties took them in different directions, but eventually they both settled back in Denver, where she compiled an impressive dossier on the residents of that hotbed of conspiracies. She was eventually killed by Giddeon Londoner, one of the first victims of the Tremere Pogrom.
