This ritual allows the caster to bypass the black veins in a vampires’ aura that appear when the amaranth is performed. Used properly, this ritual will mask the telltale diablerie lines in the casters aura. It must be cast prior to the diablerie.
System: The caster of cloaking the stain dips a fresh amaranth flower in a solution of oil and vinegar for 15 minutes before slowly roasting the basted flower over a slow fire of hardwood. Once the flower has been completely carbonized by the fire, the caster powders the blackened flower and evenly sprinkles the powder upon a small pat of butter floating in a cup of blood. The caster rolls willpower difficulty 6 to consume the concoction.
The diablerie must take place within 1 hour of the rituals completion. During this hour, other rituals for the preparation may be cast. If the ritual is successful, the telltale black veins that would normally accompany diablerie are masked, requiring five or more successes reading the diablerist's aura to detect that something is hidden.
