TITANS OF THE NEMETONDEVOS ~&~ ORGOS

Dubnolissos is the Celtic Underworld of the Nemetondevos pantheon.

The realm itself was a maze of subterranean passages that made up one immense tomb-city. The wall of the underground city were covered in megalithic art hinting at primeval origin for both the realm and its dark deity - Orgos.

The Titan Orgos was not the first or most powerful of the pantheon gods, that honor lay with his primordial lovers - the Matriares - three titanic goddesses or perhaps one with three faces, who birthed the pantheon with the ardent aid of their lover - the God of Death.

In the beginning Orgos was primordial death. A mysterious and fearful entity that presided over the deaths of countless individuals and societies. This original dread deity was formless and often manifested as a mist that would surround the departed soul and transport it to the nether city of Dubnolissos where the dead person would be reunited with those that passed before in a place that was neither paradise nor prison.

When the first of the young gods of the Nemetondevos actually died it was their father Orgos who came to take dead deity to Dubnolissos for eternity. This state of affairs did not sit well with the young pantheon of Celtic heroes who came together in grief to plot the return of their fallen sibling and an end to the predations of their father.
