Circle of Hungry Dreamers

Appearance

Behavior

Before his infection Tarquinius was a charismatic manic-depressive who was always searching for a shortcut to wealth. His schemes were rarely entire failures and it took time for him to squander his fortune in bad ventures. As he aged his desperation for that one big opportunity led him into the company of grifters who knew a mark and stole him blind. By midlife he had lost everything including his businesses, friends and his marriage.

After his infection Tarquinius Avarus seems an almost different person. While always personable Tarquinius had to work to maintain his social networks and found making inroads into other social groups a challenge.

Now he seems caught in the grip of a feverish mania like a gambler on a wild winning streak. Almost frighteningly personable his charisma is as contagious as his smile. No longer the victim, Tarquinius has taken up the confidence game, in the process he not only convinces his victims to turn over their money, but to destroy every relationship through nightmares and paranoia. In the end the victim is left with just Tarquinius who abandons them for another mark upon whom to feed.
