History

Tarquinius Avarus was a Roman merchant who was down on his luck to the point of homelessness. His failing stemmed from a penchant for investing in get-rich-quick schemes that never quite panned out. Once he joined the Circle Tarquinius showed a penchant for grandiose rags to riches dreams that left the dreamers who experienced them wanting the good-life.
