Description: The Prince's right-hand man (or woman), the seneschal, occupies her nights with the minutiae of the city's administration. The seneschal is first to hear all complaints before choosing (with the right bribe or promise) which to bring to the attention of the prince. In some principalities, the seneschal is nothing more than a secretary, a lackey and personal attendant of the prince. In others, the seneschal wields more power than the prince and is the real power behind the throne.
