Convention

A methodology is a subdivision of one of the Conventions of the Technocracy. Each methodology has a specific role in the hierarchy of the Convention and in the Technocracy as a whole, to a much greater extent than the factions of the Traditions, which are their counterparts among the reality deviant mages.

The subdivisions of the Conventions of the Order of Reason were referred to as Guilds.
