Eye of the Beholder
The Eye of the Beholder is a large five sided amethyst used as a unique focus for Ostanes manipulations of the Pillar of Corona. The Eye is a 40 carat amethyst roughly the size of a large man's palm. It isn't mounted and is surprisingly clear and without imperfections. The pentagonal cut of the stone is unusual and as its facets catch the light it is lightly hypnotic like a violet kaleidoscope.
