Alchemy (Hedge Magic)

Description: The caster creates a silver tray about 8 inches in length, inscribing it with runes that are filled in with powders and oils to set them in place. The result is a tray that can detect the presence of magic in any substance placed on it. The tray glows when there is a resonance of magic.

System: The caster needs to roll Intelligence + Alchemy, difficulty 8 to create. Eight cumulative successes are needed to create the item, plus one willpower. A botch destroys it. Once created the caster needs use the same roll, difficulty 7 to make it work. A botch gives a false result.
