Paris -- medieval -DAV- Followers of Set

Maraketa.jpg

Sobriquet: Maraketa

Appearance: A beautiful dark haired woman with alabaster skin. She keeps her hair mostly tied back in a solid braided whip with a heavy iron ball on the end.

Behavior: Makareta-Sherit is a viper when protecting her world. She is implacable at defending the temple and the goals of the Followers. When encountered otherwise she is suave and cold unless talking about the glory of Set, then she is passionate and empowered.

History: Makareta-Sherit was born in the Iranian desert to trader parents. Raised among the nomadic merchants of the north African desert she was a humble and quiet girl, raised to think and count by her father as his eldest child. She was supplanted by her brothers, but Papa always asked her opinion in private, he respected her instincts.

One night Sulfi nomads attacked her parents caravan and she was captured. She was shaved, raped, and sold as chattel in a nearby town. Over the next couple of years she was sold several times to families. While in the house of Hassad al Aswaad she met a woman named Theti-sheri who thought she had great potential.

Theti-Sheri bought her and embraced her. Makareta swore allegiance to Set and Theti-sheri and never looked back.
