Sobriquet:
Appearance: Sutekhem is short, bald priest with pale skin and intense black eyes. He is very common, if not for his innate charisma (enhanced by his Presence).
Sutekhem usually wears clean black linen Egyptian priestly clothes, but is not above common clothes when he needs to walk out. Either way, he is rarely seen unless wanting to be.
Behavior: Sutekhem is a Sutekh Priest, which sometimes puts him at odds with the Typhonists. He is cold, composed, and have an aura of certitude that borders on faith. Strangely, he does respect others of other Paths of Illumination, at least those who follow them carefully: They are mistaken, of course, but they would do good converts if shown their mistake...
History: Sutekhem was born Francisco, in an obscure servant house in the Holy Spain, the middle of the turmoil caused by the Anarch Wars and the Inquisition. A faithful christian, he was used by the Inquisition to know more about those living in his city. God was a just a good God, and so, he couldn't believe the Inquisition would be so... Evil. Soon, fires were burning those he knew to be good, if not pure, instead of teaching them their mistakes, they were simply killed, and their possessions given to the Church. Because he had been a strong supporter of the organization, the Inquisitor never suspected he would deny the existence of God before it was too late. Francisco had lost his Faith, and only hate replaced it. After killing the inquisitor and three followers, he fled for his life, to be found by Lady Amissa.
The Setite knew about him, and was pleased to see how this faithful follower of the Jealous God had turned his back to Him. It was easy to corrupt this young man, just by telling him of other Gods, which were, too betrayed, and others civilization, sacrificed to the Jealous God by the Christians as half his city had been by the Inquisitors. Full of Hate, Francisco asked to join her in Darkness, and she accepted and Embraced him.
But Francisco was nothing but a priest in heart, and soon his hate disappeared to turn to pure faith on the God who had protected him. Thus Francisco was accepted by the Order of Typhon, and became one of them.
While Louis the 16th was trying to keep the reigns of power, Francisco, now called Sutekhem (Servant of Set) in honor of his dedication, was asked to replace the local Priest of Set, and rebuild the Temple of Set. Sutekhem is working under Theti-Sheri to rebuild the temple. He is concerned her goals are not those of the Typhonists.
