Description: This ritual brings huge phantasmal black dogs with large yellowed fangs and eyes of burning crimson. The black dogs come into being within the ritual circle of the Lhiannan, and when released burst forth into the night to terrify and kill. They will first search for an active scent of blood or evil (path rating of 6 or less, or someone with recent blood on their body) and begin to bay and howl until they corner and attempt to kill their quarry. There is no real guiding of these creatures, and a wise Lhiannan will take ample precautions to cleanse themselves before casting this spell.
System: The caster rolls Charisma + Occult to bring the hounds into being. The number of successes can determine the number of hounds summoned. The caster can choose to make them manifest for real, or stay bound in the Astral plane unable to do more than bring fear to those in the skinlands. The hounds exist for 30 minutes per dot on the path. (A caster with two dots in Ogham could bind them for 1 hour).
