Laurel Hill is a sub-neighborhood of Maspeth in the New York City borough of Queens, NY. It is more commonly referred to as "West Maspeth" or as simply a part of Maspeth and not a distinct neighborhood. It was once a residential area, but has been heavily industrial since the early part of the 20th century, causing it to lose some of it's identity. There are still single and multi-family homes scattered throughout, though they are vastly outnumbered by warehouses and other forms of industry near the Newtown Creek. | Laurel Hill is a sub-neighborhood of Maspeth in the New York City borough of Queens, NY.
