Introduction
The Diana National Sports Complex primary use is as a training area for Bulgarian sports teams, from local children's teams up to national completition teams and even Olympic athletic training. The Diana Complex is the most popular and heavily visited training complex in Bulgaria today; it is regularly refered to by the citizens of Sofia as "The Little Olypian" for its wide variety of sporting venues and athletic services. The Diana NSC has numerous sporting halls, on-site transport and its own communications center. In addition to the major venues below, the complex also contains a wide variety of fitness centers and even hosts a site dedicated to beach volley ball. In the area surrounding the Diana NSC are a variety of athletic attractions and support services including: the Vassil Levski National Stadium, Sport Medicine and Trauma Hospital, National Restoration Centre, the Sofia Multifunctional Hall and a laboratory for the detection of controlled substances. The sites of interest below can be viewed via any internet mapping site and are listed in a clockwise order from the Diana Hotel to the National Center of Sports Medicine.
