Born to the Larue de Pontet of Auvergne, Jean Laville grew up a privileged and pampered boy. He was schooled by some of the best tutors in France, and went on to University in Paris. After having graduated he moved into a royal appointment to the ambassador to Russia as an assistant. After having served there for a brief time and showing some merit he was sent to Italy as a special envoy to negotiate trade. He was noticed and groomed by the Tremere. He was made a ghoul and kept young while trained to serve the clan. When his perpetual youth became a handicap, he was embraced and brought to serve the clan. After the Commune, he was sent to Paris to help stabilize the chantry in Paris. His guidance was ignored, and Villon expelled all of the Saint Louis chantry. | |||
