- Obeah 2
A vampire using Anesthetic Touch may lay her hands on someone and stop his body from feeling any pain. This also paralyzes the target.
System: Successful use of this power requires a Willpower roll (difficulty of the target's current Willpower) after the touch has been made. The numbness and paralysis last for a length of time dependent upon the number of successes. This power works on supernatural creatures, provided they have tangible bodies.
- 1 success: one turn
- 2 successes: two turns
- 3 successes: five turns
- 4 successes: one hour
- 5 successes: one day
Errata: Paralysis has turned out to be an overpowered combat power, especially for a power intended as a minor healing effect. Instead, make the target immune to wound penalties: even an incapacitated character will remain clear-headed and able to communicate though unable to functionally move. Additionally, impose a varying penalty to physical actions of +0 - +4 depending on how much the action depends on physical sensation. - Jamie
