This ritual, known to a bare handful of elder Capadocians before their fall, requires that the caster be able to free his soul from his body via Anima Walk. It allows the Astral vampire to take possession of corpses he encounters during his travels, and use them to affect the physical world.
System: This ritual takes a surprisingly short five minutes to cast, faster if the materials are prepared beforehand. The caster must simply anoint his own brow with a mixture of human ash and myrrh immediately before using Anima Walk.
Animating and possessing a cadaver while astral costs an additional point of Willpower. The body responds to the possessing vampire's will to the best of its physical ability - fresher, stronger corpses are obviously better. If the corpse is physically destroyed - 12 total health levels of damage, it collapses, and the possessing vampire's soul is hurled back into its own body. The vampire loses ten points of temporary willpower, which he may soak by rolling willpower at a difficulty of 8. A vampire who's temporary willpower is reduced to 0 or less in this way enters involuntary torpor while her mind recovers from the shock.
