Rumors: Those anarchs and Alastors who have met Valerius Maior and survived, claim that his relationship to the Sabbat is more complex that it seems. While the true meaning behind such statements is ambiguous, it is clear that Valerius Maior doesn't always side with the Sabbat or follow its pogrom. Some even claim that Valerius Maior has been manipulating the sect for decades and is the secret master of the Sabbat. If anything useful can be gleaned from all the dross, it is that Valerius Maior is older than the Sabbat as a sect and its unlikely that he is subservient to the chaotic whims of its youthful leadership.
