- Sabbat -- Montreal

- Background
The Voĭnitsi na Renesansa has an impressive, if entirely fictional pedigree. They were founded by a group of Bulgarian nationalist Sabbat, who fought Turkish, Russian and pan-Slavic would-be masters along with the Camarilla kingmakers behind the scenes. Over the years, they have participated in the occasional siege and war party, but largely pursued their own nationalist goals. In recent decades, with the passing of the last founding member, the pack has drifted away from its founding ideals, though it still celebrates its own rituals on important Bulgarian dates. Most recently, the pack lost both its Ductus and last remaining Bulgarian Nationalist while doing a favor for the powers that be: Werewolves in Gabrovo chased the two survivors into the ruined castle of the Tzimisce Marius Ignacius, but for some reason refused to follow them inside. Once inside, they found and awakened the Tzimisce and his childe. Lured by tales of the Litany, they decided to follow Marius to Montreal, while considering him as a prospective member of their pack.
- Lair
The Voĭnitsi are considering an abandoned porcelain factory on the north bank of the river as a temporary haven in Montreal. Marius has taken an estate further north and outside the city proper as his personal manse.
- Rites and Practices
The Voinitsi celebrate the Remembrance on June 9 each year. This tradition stems from the bloody end of an abortive 1876 Bulgarian revolt against Ottoman rule. The the solemn ritual involves a remembrance of each fallen member of the pack, usually through lore handed down by word of mouth, generation to generation.
On September 22, the pack celebrates the independence of Bulgaria with a celebration of unlife. Members test themselves and their unlives, preferably in new ways. Usually this is a dangerous game, but other interpretations are possible.

Angel Marahov
- Sobriquet: New Pack Leader
- Appearance: The most striking thing about Angel is his collection of prison tattoos - commemorations of accomplishments and events from another lifetime. The look is accentuated with biker leathers, blue-jean finger gloves, and combat boots. Beneath the tattoos, Angel is stringy and wiry, the muscles and veins stand out from his undersized frame, a legacy of a decade of systematic undernourishment at the hands of the Bulgarian communist regime. Some days before his embrace, Angel was clean shaven: He now sports a millimeter of stubble.
- Background: Born in 1965, Angel spent his life on the wrong side of the law behind the iron curtain. Shortly after his 22nd birthday, he was caught, and remained forgotten in prison for more than a decade. In 1989, with the fall of the iron curtain and Bulgaria's regime, several of the inmates broke out of the un-funded, poorly staffed prison. Little did they know that they were abetted by the Sabbat looking for recruits.

- Background: The only real information on Mai comes from official Bulgarian records. Bulgaria has issued her both a student passport and work visa; her passport and visa status is unusual in that it has a ten year duration, which is usually issued only to diplomatic envoys. The two rode horses to the Castle of Varvara and introduced themselves to the Voivode of Gabrovo. When Mai introduced herself, she presented her hand to be kissed and the Prince obliged her - immediately thereafter she collapsed into some sort of seizure and was taken to a suit in the castle to recover.
