Kaitlin's Spell Book

Description: This ritual allows the caster to preserve a relic to keep the mystical connections from being contaminated. It adds no connection to the object, it only preserves the mystical connections? This enables the caster to use a blood point, or a small piece to be used over and over again, while still being of manageable size. The ritual is in effect until willed to do so.

System: the caster must start the ritual, and place the object in tree resin. If the object is tears, or blood the ritual will cause it to pool in the center of the tree resin. At the completion of the ritual, the caster will have what appears to be the object encased in amber. (note, chemical analysis will see that it is just resin) from the completion of the ritual, anything done to the amber rock, will be as if you are using the relic. It will not gain or loose any sympathy through its use. If needed the caster can willfully break it, and the resin will dissolve leaving the relic unpreserved and able to be used for other things.

Questions: How long does this last? What happens to the relic after the spell expires? Is this really a level 1? What to successes mean, I would assume length of Preservation?
