Saint Louis
Old Frenchtown is made up of four new neighborhoods, LaSalle Park, St. Louis, Lafayette Square, St. Louis, Peabody/Darst/Webbe, St. Louis and Soulard, St. Louis—bordering the southern edge of Downtown St. Louis. It was formed as a "new" neighborhood, legally distinct from the larger Soulard district, through the efforts of local company Ralston Purina.
