Eye of the Beholder
The Eye of the Beholder is a amethyst sphere used as a unique focus for Ostanes manipulations of the Pillar of Corona. The Eye is a 240 gram amethyst roughly the size of a large man's palm. It isn't mounted and is surprisingly clear and without imperfections. In the right light, the sphere appears to have a cloudy iris with a dark pupil near its heart, the longer an individual gazes at this imperfection the more detail it takes on become positively hypnotic in its realism.
