The Avatar can spend a single point of Divinity to convert all the lethal damage from a single attack into bashing damage, though an overload of bashing damage still upgrades existing bashing damage to lethal (see p. 197). This Flair cannot convert aggravated damage into anything less grave. The character cannot convert old lethal damage into bashing damage. The FLair works only on incoming damage from a single attack.
