Level 1
The Circle of Baphomet is a physical creation, which is purified and cleansed of external forces. It should be inscribed in the fashion laid down by Eliphas Levi. This circle becomes a hallowed/reviled place where the Thaumaturges ritual magic is easier to invoke. Some rituals depend on this Circle though, as it needs to be present to stop external forces from contaminating the magic being cast. The items used to craft the circle should be of high quality, the caster should spend at least eight hours crafting and consecrating the circle.
System: The caster crafts the circle, cleansing it and herself as she does so. The caster must abstain from magic, food (blood), sex, or violence for at least forty-eight hours before the Circle of Baphomet is cast. Caster rolls Intelligence + Occult difficulty 6. Failure results in a worthless circle. A Botch will warp all magic cast inside, in whatever way the storyteller wishes until it is fixed.
