Paris -P- The Nature of the Mad in Paris -P- Malkavian

Sobriquet: Gregory

Appearance: Gregory is a man of very plain appearance, wearing normal clothes. The kind of man that would walk unseen in a nightclub... As the women would turn their stare elsewhere. His only special feature is his receding red hair, cut short.

Behavior: Despite his looks, he can be quite professional when he works at something. He won't stutter (in scientific standards, at least), and talks with assurance and hears with interest. But when it comes to something that can make him nervous (i.e.: Living women, talking about sex), he can have some difficulties to talk in understandable words.

When among dead (and not undead) women, he can be quite bestial, adopting a dominator-among-his-slaves-like behavior. In this particular subject, Gregory remained all-too human... (I won't press the issue...)

History: Gregory was a young doctor with promising talent, but was somewhat too cold to be around. Even his professors felt something wasn't quite right about him, but couldn't put the finger at what...

But someone learned...

Gregory was working at the hospital, in his last year of medicine studies. He stayed until late, putting some form of order in the administrative papers and forensics reports. Or at least, it was what he was supposed to be. His future Sire found him having sexual intercourse with the body of a young woman who would have been quite beautiful if her abdomen had not been opened for forensic reasons.

This young doctor, so full of passion in front of the dead entrails moving in rhythm, seduced the Kindred, who decided to Embrace him.

My daughter!... This was only a shocked whisper, but Gregory heard it like a shout. His face must have changed to almost all spectrum color when he realized this funeral-clothed woman was looking at him with eyes that were wide with horror. Gregory passed out from the surprise. He would never awaken... Alive, that is...

His Embrace had been plagued by nightmares and dreams mixed-up, where beautiful dead corpses were moaning for his caress and beating him with the fury of a jealous lover. He awakened with a message written in the moisture of the mirror of the toilets: You're a Vampire, now....

To his horror, he found that it was true! He fled the hospital and went to his apartment to hide in shame of having been discovered, and of having been made one of the undead to pay for his crime.

Since then, having been presented to the Prince, the famous François Villon (in a quite violent way, as his lieutenant, Ivan seemed quite pleased to bring this apparent caitiff to the Louvre), Gregory was authorized to remain in Paris. Little did he know that his Sire was hidden in the very chambers where he gave his pledge of allegiance.

Since then, his scientific mind took over, and he decided to uncover the mystery of vampirism. And his lust for the beautiful dead woman only increased...
