History: André Paquet (childe) is Jean-Baptiste's youngest brother and has just recently finished his time in the French army. When the trip was proposed he was all for seeing a new country, getting to know his brother's wife and his nephew Raphael. The trip to Brazil has turned into the worst sort of disaster and he feels particularly responsible for the family's plight, because he feels he failed to protect his loved ones as a soldier. That he was vastly outnumbered doesn't seem to lessen his guilt and he would do anything to make up for his failure.
