Sobriquet: Senator Nostinus, or Gracis if you are a friend or would be friend.
Appearance: Gracis is a soft, pink looking man. He has a chubby face and blond hair, think like a baby's. Gracis is only five feet tall, and his clothes are always very baggy, if somewhat stylish. His lips are fat and make him appear permanently pouting.
Behavior: Gracis is foppish in the extreme and sometimes comes across as foolish when he falls short in some grand gesture. He has a tendency to stoop and hunch his shoulders. Gracis tends to talk through his nose and he is best described as prim and effeminate. For any era, he is exceedingly clean, and always has a clean cloth with which to wipe is hands or face. As such, Gracis is inclined to wipe his hands immediately after touching someone and will touch the smallest part of any dish he is holding.
History: Gracis Nostinus is the second childe of Marius Maior, a descendant of Camilla and the only member of the line of Camilla in the Eternal City. In life he was the youngest son of Senator Gaius Nostinus before being Embraced by Marius in 412 C.E. Gracis was Embraced for his exceptional scholarship and his command of languages, at which he is considered something of a savant. Embraced in Roman Britain, he belonged to a large coterie of Marius' childer. The eldest of Marius' brood was savage Dane called Hrothulf, who had been Embraced thirty-five years earlier and who served as his sire's musclebound henchman. For centuries, Gracis, Hrothulf and the other progeny of Marius served their sire in all things. Then thirty years ago, the Norman's invaded England and Hrothulf saw his chance and in a surprise move he slew Marius and committed diablerie upon him. Despite his centuries deep hatred of Marius, Hrothulf spared Gracis final death and disappeared into the night. Gracis was left to dispose of his sire's body and explain events to his blood siblings. While all the childer of Marius swore vengeance against Hrothulf, only Gracis has pursued his elder brother.
Recent Events: Gracis immediately returned to Rome after clearing up his sire's affairs. His first act was to parade himself through the heart of the city and refused to feed for a fortnight until the Caesar's mortal servants came to collect him. When taken before Constantius, Gracis Nostinus detailed his history and intentions before asking leave to remain in Rome and hunt. Constantius offered his contemporary the right to domain upon the Caelian Hill in return for a blood oath. Gracis accepted without hesitation and has been a firm support of the Caesar in the years that followed. When the Norman's invaded the city during the summer of 1084, Gracis acted as Constantius' Ventrue agent in negotiating a peace with Achard de Hauteville. For that service, he was raised to the rank of senator and sits with the other six senators when that council meets each season.
