Rituals Pending Storyteller Approval -z- Level 2.

Description: This ritual works in a similar fashion to the level 2 thaumaturgy ritual: Inscription in that it acts to create an enchanted placeholder for a targeted ritual. This ritual imbues another simple ritual (level one or two) into an alchemical tattoo for later activation at a time and place of the caster's choosing. Only certain types of rituals that have targeting based on proximity, touch or sight can be cast in this fashion. And due to the nature of the careful balance of mystical forces within a Kindred body, only a small number of alchemical tattoos can be so imbued. The ritual "Imbue Thy Design" must be cast first and then immediately followed by the ritual to be stored. This requires two separate ritual rolls and stacking the second ritual onto the first is obviously more difficult. However, there is considerable utility in being able to carry around a handful of preprepared rituals to be activated in a moment of need. This ritual is however expensive in terms of blood expenditure, as blood acts not only as the medium of enchantment, but also serves as a empowering sacrifice.

System: The player rolls Intelligence + Occult at a difficulty of five (5). Successes upon this ritual act to limit the number of potential successes on the secondary ritual. Thus, if the player got 3 successes on Imbue Thy Design and he wanted to enchant his alchemical tattoo with the level 2 ritual Burning Blade wherein each success reflects the number of potential aggravated attacks that are possible with the enchanted blade. Regardless of how many successes the player got on the casting roll, he is limited to three strikes with the burning blade because the secondary ritual cannot exceed the primary ritual in successes. The secondary ritual is cast at a +1 difficulty modifier to represent the complexity of stacking the rituals one upon another in this fashion. Once cast, the hanging ritual has not expiration date, but costs a blood point to imbue at the time of casting. The character can have no more than five (5) imbued tattoos and certain rituals cannot be imbued because of the way they need to be cast or if they already have a triggering effect.
