Mage Information

Quiet is a typically temporary magical delusion that distorts afflicted mages' views of reality. Quiet is brought on by paradox. Each is associated with one particular type of Resonance, and indicates a mage has too closely associated with one particular branch of the Metaphysic Trinity. The three types of Quiet are:

  • Madness, a Dynamic Quiet.
  • Clarity, a Static Quiet.
  • Jhor, an Entropic Quiet.

While Quiet is normally temporary, some mages can be in a permanent state of quiet. These mages are called Marauders. All Marauders are in a permanent state of Madness, but some have other forms of Quiet as well.
