Dur'an'Ki
One of the first successes of the tajdid research program (the Assamite Sorcerer's attempt to undo the Tremere curse), this ritual delays the effects of poisoned or cursed blood for a short time, including the now defunct effect of vampiric vitae on Assamites. The ritual takes five minutes to cast, and the effects last for a number of hours equal to the character's successes while casting.
Poisoned, drugged, cursed, or otherwise tainted blood should be marked separately in the character's blood pool: As soon as the ritual wears off, the blood points are lost, and whatever taint they may have carried takes full effect if they are still in the Vampire's system. If they have been used before Evade Blood's Curse wears off, however, it is as if the vampire never ingested the tainted sustenance.
A sorcerer may cast this ritual on another vampire.
Note: I seriously expanded the power of this ritual, which was designed only to give a temporary respite (a few rounds at most) from the Tremere's curse on the Assamite bloodline. However, it makes sense, and it IS a rank 6. If you disagree, this is the place to lodge that disagreement. -Jamie
