Western Alliance of Independent States

Bruce's Commentary: Keith your description of the WAIS is short, but otherwise quite an interesting bit of commentary. You touched on a couple of interesting items I hadn't thought much about and I think a more detailed description would ideal, when and if you have a desire to do so. I found just a couple of disparities in the text. The first is the inclusion of Texas as a potential member with the possibility of holding the capital. In our story, Texas has always chosen to go it alone on the principle that it is within itself a sovereign state. The second is that the WAIS would name its police force after that of Texas' rangers seems unlikely. In general, I found your perspective to be quite refreshing, but I know there are others in the group who may raise complaints due in part to it not fitting their recollection. While their complaints might be fair, I think you should move forward in further description because one has always been needed and because the devil lies in the details.

Keith's commentary: Thanks for the feedback. I had forgotten that it was listed that Texas was a lone country. I will make those changes. I will also have to change the map, it is inaccurate (I had also noted that the Dakota's are unified and that I needed to note that on the map.) As an outsider who has not played with you all through this timeline I have been considering changes, and the comment about the governments was very vague in the timeline...so I have been looking at options to fill in those details. I am open to critiques, I am just trying to follow the bones of what has been written and flesh out the details a little. These are the thoughts that have been around my questions as to the League of the Night and the other factions past 2022...
