Title: Primogen of Clan Brujah
Sobriquet: Borisko
Domain: Slatina is located in the eastern sector of the city and includes Vrazdebna – the Sofia International Airport; the area is economically strong and the mortal population is 66,000 mortals. Slatina is home to the Ministry of Domestic Affairs, the Committee for Exploiting Nuclear Energy for Peaceful Purposes, and the State Music Academy "Pancho Vladigerov". There are also four embassies present in the district: China, India, Romania and Sweden. Hotel Pliska is the main lodging in the area and the district’s chief shopping area is the Sky City Mall.
Background: Borisko was a Russian Bolshevik sent in 1934, to aid Emil in protecting the rights of the downtrodden of Bulgaria. Though originally, Borisko aided Emil in the governance of the city, he was eventually ‘promoted’ to the position of Primogen and then marginalized by the then Prince Emil’s dictatorial Camarilla style. If Borisko cannot be found in Elysium, he will almost certainly be found at the Festivalna Hall in Slatina; Festivalna Hall is a major venue for local and international musicians, younger performers are favored and this the main venue for Balkan-Rock.
When Prince Emil was ousted by the Camarilla leadership and Brian O'Reilly was moved into that position by dint of his generation and lineage, Borisko raised objections to O’Reilly taking possession of the Sofia International Airport as his personal domain, citing the fact that the airport is officially a part of Slatina and thus belongs to him. Ultimately that issue was sorted out between the prince to be and the Bolshevik primogen.
Description: Borisko is rather short at 5’5” and cannot weigh more than 150 pounds. He has compact muscular form, much like the gymnast he professes to have been in life. His hair is a pale blond and had begun to receding in the early stages of baldness. His most defining physical feature are his shockingly cold, ice blue eyes which convey a sense of having seen far more of life than someone of his age group.
Elysium: National Academy of Music, Est.1921 by Royal Decree (formerly: Bulgarian State Conservatoire)
Personality: Borisko is larger than life; he possesses a brooding intensity that comes off him in waves like heat. He thinks nothing of invading other peoples personal space or of waving his large well manicured hands in someone else’s face. He can go from a calm brooding to explosive intensity in less than a human heart-beat. When he speaks of the people, you realize he sees no difference between mortals and vampires; it is during these times that he seems to generate a special intensity that in anyone else could be described as religious fervor. Borisko takes communism very seriously and has been known to lecture when calm and rant when faced with anything like opposition. He has a special loathing for the aristocracy, capitalists of all stripes and the corruption of holy mother church.
Childer: Borisko has two childer known to be active in Sofia: Grigor Boriskovic, the city's former Seneschal, and Kalina Gala.
Current Events: Of the Primogen Council, the last two years have seen the most change in Borisko. In a nearly about face, to his previous habits, Borisko has worked to smooth over past antagonisms with the other members of the council. He has made an especial effort to create a positive dialogue with Svetlana Valentin of the Toreador and has gone so far as to support her inquires into Prince O'Reilly's two mysterious disappearances. Elysium opinions vary, but many believe that he is attempting to form a subversive alliance with the formerly communist ballet mistress, while racier rumors suggest a clandestine romantic relationship between the two Russians. Only time will tell what Borisko is trying to achieve with his new benevolence, but the primogen council isn't buying it. Communist leopards don't just change their spots.
