November 1st & 2nd - 1904 - London to Paris
The Demeter is bound from London to Paris. All the crew are aboard, cargo secured and passengers settled. Even as we await our final two passengers a storm rages over London and the winds are blowing westward so the channel crossing will be longer than normal, I calculate two hours to Calais. With luck we will be docked in Paris by dawn. - Malken Fitzroy, Captain.
