The occult encompasses both trendy New-Age images as well as the dark and sinister rumors of curses and "black Magic."  It includes knowledge about voodoo, mysticism, theTarot and other related "magic" popular among the sleepers.  The occult is highly significant in its own right, for many among the un-Awakened have strong beliefs in its supposed powers.  This also covers the existence of other supernatural communities and their general properties.
