Appearance: A handsome young man, Cengiz is at the prime of his life. Swarthy skinned and dark hair top an impressive physique that all the women see.
Behavior: Cengiz never could see the point in being a serious man, and made everything in life a joke. The more dire the situation, the funnier it would become to Cengiz.
History: Cengiz was born the sixth child of the El-khan, a tribal chieftain in the Moghredal valley. The Gohkurks were a warlike and nomadic people. They lived roving, herding lifestyles and a shamanistic culture. Cengiz was fascinated when his mother gave birth to a seventh child, who they named Songul. The two grew up inseparable and friendly.
Cengiz became a man within his tribe. While wishing to follow in his fathers steps, Cengiz chafed at the stylistic and restrictive rule structures of their tribal ways. Cengiz wanted to revolutionize the way the tribe was ruled and ran, turning the fighting men into more of a standard army and less of the nomadic mob that it was. Within a couple of years was preparing to take a wife from a neighboring tribe. The night before his wedding the tribe was attacked by a strange tribe, and their father killed. Cengiz could not get the men to follow him to attack the warrior who bore away his wife to be. The elders of the tribe were so incensed by his ranting at them that they drove Songul and Cengiz from the camp. Alone and without money or food, the siblings stumbled apon the Pageant.
At first it was a place to hide from the dangers of the steppe. Then, as Cengiz saw how the pageant helped Songul, he went to Mauritanis looking for a way to make enough money to raise and army and go back. Mauritanis was more than happy to make a bargain with Cengiz, and his wish was fulfilled. In time Cengiz was a wealthy man. At this point he and his sister tried to leave, and the Pageant brought them back. They were shown how leaving could be bad for them. After that the pair never tried to escape the Pageant again, as both were trying to pay off the debts they had acquired.
