Since it's early inception the Pageant has put up a wall of multicolored canvas.  To the punters this wall of canvas simply funnels them to the entrances of the camp, keeping the wandering gaukers out of the seedier parts of camp.  Those within  the Pageant know the boundary marked by the stakes is part of the veil that keeps the pieces of immortality in place...where the Wyrd of Carna and the Gift of Namrael are enacted and renewed at each new site of the Pageant..
