Sobriquet: Einarr

Appearance: Einarr is a giant of a man. At 7' 3" and 410# he is massive. His long red hair is often matted and dirty, his heavy read beard greasy with the last meal he ate. His eyes are ice blue, and mostly vacant, though from time to time they spark with some interest.

Behavior: Einarr is apathetic. He has almost not soul left, and his interest in the world around him has waned. Mostly he will eat or drink anything given to him, though he has stopped using the Heterae.

History: Einarr was the son of a Jarl in the north. Einarr was raised to fight and raid, in the fashion of his ancestors. Einarr also liked to gamble. He loved to bet on the seeds in a lemon, or which way a bird would fly. When he encountered the gambling house in the pageant and Sender, he couldn't resist himself. In the first night he was up big, winning several hundred gold from the Money lender. On the second night he won Senders horse and two chests of fine art pieces. On the third night his luck turned, and Einarr lost it all. Before dawns early light, Sender offered him an exchange, 3/5 of his valuables returned if he would just sign away his soul. Overjoyed the huge Viking signed with his mark, and Sender sent him home with much of his wealth.

But after that the big man couldn't sleep, all he could see was the sly eyes of Sender watching him, beating him at dice over and over. Einarr followed the Pageant, and this time Sender left him penniless, leagues from home. In exchange for some work, Sender let him keep his clothes and shoes. Einarr never left the Pageant again.

Relationship with Rambert: Einarr despises Rambert, anyone who stays with the Pageant willingly is a fool. If they cross paths when Einarr is in a foul mood and cares, he will probably slap Rambert with no warning.
