Back to Brian's Necromancy Spell Book
Arawn is the celtic god of the dead and as such is the master of life and death in the celtic pantheon. Those who wish to know about the death or the dead, must ultimately consult this dark god. This ritual is divinatory in nature and allows the caster to learn whether or not a person has become a wraith after her death. The caster offers a prayer to Arawn, Lord of the Dead and grasps a handful of earth from the persons grave site, if nothing happens, then the person did not become a wraith, if the earth turns to blood, then the person is a wraith and if the earth turns to maggots, then the person has become a spectre.
