'''Behavior:''' Vodach Vulo is a proud man who has traveled the length and breadth of medieval Europe as the leader of the Wandering Pageant and as such, he wears many masks, some are for the ignorant peasants, while others are for the haughty nobles or morally superior clergy, but he reserves his best masks for the other pageant-folk. Like the beast his name implies, Vulo is both cunning and intelligent, but he knows best that in order to remain the leader of his pack, he must never show weakness, nor allow any in those who follow him. Despite this, the Vodach isn't a cruel man, rather the harsh world of the 11th century has purged him of all sentimentality and hardened his already ingrained pragmatism to an animal like instinct. Those who meet Vulo for the first time expect from his appearance a dour man, an image he often plays to, but this is far from the truth. As a experienced international traveler, Vulo knows that death lies waiting for everyone and usually from the most unlikely source, as such he is the first to give a hard belly-laugh at a bit of slapstick comedy, to eat and drink his fill, to pursue a particularly toothsome wench or just to contemplate the coming of a particularly beautiful sunrise or sunset. Like all nomads, he enjoys traveling unknown roads free from the authority of lords to new destinations and living under the open sky free from the stink of towns or cities.

Sobriquet: Vodach (Bulg. leader)

Appearance: At five foot tall, Vodach Vulo is considered a man of average height. Appearing nearly forty years old, Vulo - which means wolf in his native tongue, is a well seasoned warrior and experienced commander. His dark eyes flash from an angular face, which sports a hawk-like nose and bushy black beard shot through with white hairs hinting at his actual age. The Vodach's hansom face is naturally swarthy, and further darkened by the sun and wind, the white scars from dozens of life-and-death fights proclaim his ruthless prowess in combat and wet the appetites of his lovers. On the road, the Vodach wears a forest green surcoat over a chain-mail hauberk, on top of a heavy doublet, long woolen breeches stuffed into knee length eastern boots whose toes curl up like Arabian slippers. In villages and towns, at marketplaces and during fair times he abandons the armor and dons a red velvet cloak over his usual attire and adorns himself with whatever finery is at hand.

Behavior: Vodach Vulo is a proud man who has traveled the length and breadth of medieval Europe as the leader of the Wandering Pageant and as such, he wears many masks, some are for the ignorant peasants, while others are for the haughty nobles or morally superior clergy, but he reserves his best masks for the other pageant-folk.
