'''Appearance:''' Fairuza has dusky skin, dark curly hair that reaches her shoulders, and dark brown eyes. Like many Iranian women, she is shorter than average, with a slight but athletic build. Graceful in her movements, Fairuza exudes an "in your face" attitude when in the presence of anyone who might challenge her authority (with the exception of [[Sascha Vykos]]). She dresses for mobility and comfort rather than for adornment. She wears no jewelry except for the twenty or so silver hoops that that line her ears.

'''Background:'''  Fairuza’s family emigrated to the United States from Iran when she was a young teenager.   Her father did not like the way Fairuza had embraced the new American culture over his more traditional Iranian ways. He kept her locked up in their home and monitored her trips to and from school.

'''Background:'''  Fairuza’s family emigrated from Iran to the United States in 1980. Settling in California where her father opened a small Middle Eastern food store, Fairuza quickly adapted to the American lifestyle -- much to the chagrin of her traditional family. Her father, fearing for his daughter's virtue, made her a virtual prisoner in their home, monitoring her trips to and from school and keeping her busy helping with the family business.

When Fairuza graduated from high school she wanted to attend college, but her father forbade it. That was the last straw and Fairuza left her family forever, running away to Los Angeles. While in LA she joined a local gang and was embraced by a young Brujah named Boudreaux.  At first Fairuza was willing to do anything he asked, but eventually she realized she was as much a prisoner under him as she was with her father.
+
Matters came to a head when Fairuza graduated from high school and wanted to attend college. Her father forbade her from seeking further education, claiming that, as a woman, she had no need of it. Fairuza pretended to submit to her father's will, but watched carefully for any opportunity to escape. The chance presented itself when Fairuza found herself alone in the bakery one day. Taking money from the cash drawer, she closed the shop and bolted. She bought a bus ticket to Los Angeles and vanished from her family's lives.

She hooked up with a nomadic Sabbat pack, willingly taking part in the Creation Rite.  She returned to LA and killed Boudreaux and much of his gang, earning the right to be called a True Sabbat. Fairuza noticed her pack leader, a prideful Lasombra named Ruiz, paid little attention to her. She watched him in battle and thought his combat skills were unsophisticated. Fairuza challenged him to a duel to the death and easily gutted him from groin to throat.  Now she leads the pack.
+
As a runaway, Fairuza learned quickly how to survive on the streets. She hooked up with a gang led by a charismatic young man named Boudreaux, who only appeared at night and initiated her into his group's strange rituals -- such as the drinking of his blood. By the time Boudreaux Embraced Fairuza, she was willing to do whatever he wanted her to...for a while.

Fairuza is also a personal bodyguard to [[Sascha Vykos]], traveling with him when he’s in America. As one of Vykos’ aides, Fairuza has earned the respect of most Sabbat members. While others fear Vykos, Fairuza finds comfort and security in her presence.
+
Fairuza soon realized, despite her blood-bond to her sire, that she was as much a prisoner of Boudreaux as she had been of her father. Boudreaux controlled her every action, keeping her close to him and dictating everything from the clothes she wore to the people she could associate with. Fairuza plotted her escape. A nomadic Sabbat pack provided her with the "out" she needed.

Fairuza willingly underwent the Creation Rites and survived her probationary period, earning the right to be called True Sabbat when she killed her sire and most of his gang. For a time, she relished the freedom of unlife with her pack. Eventually, she noticed that her pack leader, a Lasombra named Ruiz who prided himself on his machismo, rarely paid attention to her ideas. Fairuza watched him in battle and noted his lack of sophistication while she honed her own skills. One night, she invoked the ''ritus'' of Monomancy, challenging her leader to a duel to the death. Expecting an easy victory over an upstart pack member, Ruiz toyed with Fairuza, not realizing that she had slipped inside his guard until it was too late. She gutted him from groin to throat.

Fairuza claimed Ruiz's place as ''ductus'' and has managed to retain that position through her charisma and sheer determination, rather than through tact or martial prowess. Five years ago, Fairuza and her pack traveled to Mexico to visit the center of Sabbat activity and attend the sect's most prestigious ''Palla Grande''. Sascha Vykos also made an appearance at that grand rite and its exotic, genderless beauty drew Fairuza to it like a magnet.

The brash, determined young Brujah ''antitribu'' in turn, impressed Sascha with some inner quality, for it requested that Fairuza and her pack escort it to several other appointments in Mexico City and Southern California. Since then, Fairuza's pack has served Sascha as a personal guard whenever the itinerant priscus decides to travel around the American continents, remaining on call whenever it has a need for them. Recently, Sascha has requested that they oversee its negotiations with some high-ranking Camarilla Tremere in, of all places, Raleigh, North Carolina.

'''Personality:''' Fairuza is never going to allow anyone to control her life, ever, again. She searched for freedom since before her Embrace, and until recently, she believed that she had found it in the Sabbat. Fairuza has come to accept that sometimes she must follow orders, but she would prefer to take orders from someone who appreciates her talents, rather than from someone who sees her as a subservient female. Sascha Vykos fits the bill perfectly. It does not consider Fairuza in terms of her gender, but looks beneath the surface at her soul. Ironically, while most Sabbat fear the Angel of Caine, Fairuza feels safe in its company, as long as she does her job successfully. Recently, Sascha has begun to reawaken Fairuza's interest in academics, something her human family forced her to abandon. It has reminded Fairuza that her clan has a long history of scholarship, as well as military excellence. Fairuza feels compelled to listen to its urgings, for she knows she must hone her intellect as well as her body.

'''Appearance:''' As Kurt is a Tzimisce (New Clan), he can and does change shape at will, where other Tzimisce must exert themselves to change their form, Barlow simply conceptualizes the form he desires as his bones warp themselves to the desired shape and his flesh crawls and undulates to accommodate the new biometrics. Despite this, Kurt maintains a human shape to facilitate mortal interactions and to better fit in with his pack. The form most desirable to his pack and Sabbat allies is that of a well muscled Caucasian male in his late 20s, in this form Barlow dresses like an extra in a post-apocalyptic scifi-action film. His muscular form is almost albino pale, with skin so taunt over muscle he seems to have no body fat at all. His hair is worn in a wild Mohawk splashed with barbarous, unnatural colors which becomes a wild tangle of dreads woven with a variety of bones and trinkets. While in this form he wears a trench-coat formed from the skins of all the vampires he has defeated in battle. Barlow doesn't carry guns or knives because real vampires are weapons and with but a touch he can shatter or warp bone, cause flesh to slough off in chunks or rip out an enemy's heart with his bare hands.

Linage: 9th generation Progeny of Carolina Valez and Coven Architect

Appearance: Ruiz was the epitome of the Spanish male, with shoulder length black hair and just enough five-o-clock shadow to be debonair. His thick devilish brows shadowed dark intelligent eyes rhymed by a touch too much mascara. His dark Latin skin and athletic body were complimented by a male model's stylish wardrobe done all in black. Unfortunately for Ruiz, like the shadows he commanded, there was more of style to him than substance.

Background: Ruiz was Embraced by Carolina Valez, ductus of a founded pack formed in Mexico City and sent to Los Angeles in during the early 1980s to re-establish a Sabbat presence in the Anarch Free State lost during the 1960s -- The Lost Angels.

Personality:

Rest in Peace:

Fairuza

Brujah antitribu Fairuza.jpg

Linage: Progeny of The Devil Boudreaux and Paladin to Sascha Vykos.

Appearance: Fairuza has dusky skin, dark curly hair that reaches her shoulders, and dark brown eyes. Like many Iranian women, she is shorter than average, with a slight but athletic build. Graceful in her movements, Fairuza exudes an "in your face" attitude when in the presence of anyone who might challenge her authority (with the exception of Sascha Vykos). She dresses for mobility and comfort rather than for adornment. She wears no jewelry except for the twenty or so silver hoops that that line her ears.

Background: Fairuza’s family emigrated from Iran to the United States in 1980.

One night, she invoked the ritus of Monomancy, challenging her leader to a duel to the death. Expecting an easy victory over an upstart pack member, Ruiz toyed with Fairuza, not realizing that she had slipped inside his guard until it was too late. She gutted him from groin to throat.

Fairuza claimed Ruiz's place as ductus and has managed to retain that position through her charisma and sheer determination, rather than through tact or martial prowess. Five years ago, Fairuza and her pack traveled to Mexico to visit the center of Sabbat activity and attend the sect's most prestigious Palla Grande. Sascha Vykos also made an appearance at that grand rite and its exotic, genderless beauty drew Fairuza to it like a magnet.
