Sobriquet: Mambo Asogwe (high-priestess)
Appearance: Honorine is tall for a woman, as she stands just over six feet in height. But, unlike so many of the Quadroons (one fourth part white), her body is lithe and athletic without much thickness. She wears her hair short and close to the scalp, usually in pleats, which those of rural background refer to as 'cornrows.' In her day-to-day dress, she prefers to wear ladies business attire in contrasting colors that bring out her bronze colored skin; in private, the less she wears, the better. But, while within her temple or at prayer, she wears a simple, white cotton robe, to remind her of the goal of purity. Perhaps Honorine's most suggestive feature are her almond shaped eyes, which convey not only her mood, but also elicit emotions of her choice from those she casts her gaze upon. She tends to wear as little jewelry as possible because to her it symbolizes vanity, but she does wear a variety of necklaces, and both her ears are pierced - twice, once upon the upper ear by a small golden hoop and twice in the form of a ear-lobe plug.
