Giovanesse legitimately owns one of the larger shipping concerns in Europe, and has a reputation for being able to get any cargo to any destination if the price is right. He hired Kamiko Tanaka to assassinate a Lasombra competitor, Salihman Jarmouni, in Casablanca. In return, he introduced her to a new Necromantic tutor after the disappearance of Benesj Cherno.
