- Gangrel -x- League of the Night -x- New Orleans
Sobriquet: "Wolf" for his obvious, but nonetheless intriguing animal features.
Appearance:
Behavior: With his aristocratic mien and debonair daring Chauncy makes the perfect spokesman for the fabled “Son of the Night”, most eyes are upon him instead of the rest of Xaviar's krew and thats just the way Chauncy likes it.
History: Chauncy was the last son of a landed French noble, when it wasn't popular to be a nobleman and with nothing to inherit, he took his chances in the army of Louis XV. It was in his majesty's service that he first saw New Orleans and fell in love, for it was a city of opportunity. Unfortunately, he left the service of his majesty over the death of a senior officer and he did so in a hurry or he might have died by firing squad instead. Chauncy spent a number of years as a buccaneer on the gulf coast before he ran afoul of a British warship; the lads fought well, but they were outmatched from the beginning. Xaviar found him after he was washed ashore. Chauncy was badly wounded and hadn't long to live, but instead of asking for a priest, he asked for just one more chance at those bastards that killed his crew and that must have been when Xaviar decided he deserved a second chance.
