Appearance: Angus is short and heavily muscled, with a thick neck and short red hair cropped short into a crew cut with various Celtic knot patterns carved into his hair, he also has several tattoos from before his embrace and an earring in his left ear ("One in your right ear makes you queer!"). He dresses mostly in black, likes leather jackets with lots of spikes and chains on it and wears military boots whenever possible.
Background: Born in the spring of 1974, the third son of a steel-worker and a nanny, Angus was the baby of the family and a wild child. The word that would define young Angus' life would be fighting. He grew up fighting two older brothers and a host of local kids in an impoverished suburb of Glasgow, where getting what you wanted meant taking it away from someone else and that axiom worked well for him into his early teens. Being a smart lad, Angus also quickly learned that he didn't and couldn't fight every time and win, so he learned the fine art of intimidation to keep all the other kids in line.
Fighting and intimidation worked well with the boys of the of his neighborhood, but not the young lasses who wanted a true gentleman and knight in shining armor, so Angus learned the hard way about women in the two room flat of an upstairs neighbor; Maggie was a fine woman and as it happened, into the occult, which is where young Angus first developed an interest in the subject.
Soon Angus' grades improved, but none of the instructors of his University could take credit, because Angus spent most of his time in the library studying sex, Satanism and sorcery. Though this choice of study disturbed his teachers, his parents dismissed it as teenage angst and assumed he would grow out of it and he never did, though his method of study would change all that.
A few years later, Angus was in on a burglary with his hooligan friends and his share of the take was a computer, which seemed a neat piece of loot, but one that immediately proved immune to his usual tactics of beatings, intimidation or seduction. Forced for the first time to master something without his social skill, he originally treated it like a toy and played games on it, but over time his curiosity led him to explore what else he could do with the damned machine. On his sixteenth birthday he successfully hacked a local ATM and he and his friends went out on the town to celebrate with all his new money. What he got was busted by the cops for illegally tampering with a money machine and a year in reform school.
The next year he hacked the same machine and they never caught him, from there it was a stead escalation of one hack after another, mostly to punish all those who had sent him to a juvenal detention center.
Probably, he would have gone on to become one of the worlds' most infamous hackers, but that didn't occur. What did occur took placed in the summer of 1991, when Angus began collecting an occult library taken from sites across the internet, though he had a nice collection he was always looking for that next big dark secret and he found it in the form of a hidden site about the Knights Templar. Angus couldn't resist the temptation, even though the security on the site was really impressive, he still managed to defeat it and copied everything he found there.
Though it isn't known to most, many occultists believe that there are certain events that can totally change the course of our lives and in hacking the Templar's site, Angus had stumbled upon just such an event. A few nights later, an black jaguar drove up in front of Angus's apartment building and a well dressed bloke up from London introduced himself as Rory Miles, a fellow dabbler in the occult and the owner of the site Angus had hacked, but he wasn't angry, quite the contrary, he actually wanted to share the other occult secrets he had discovered and in return Angus would hack for him. That night Rory took Angus to London and they spent the night out on the town, Rory spent money like it grew on trees and took Angus to the best places. The next night, Angus agreed and was embraced as a member of the Tremere.
Though the Tremere were a bit stuffy, Angus quickly picked up all the nuances of unlife, studied under Rory and began learning the real secret that Rory had to teach, thaumaturgy. Angus had gotten all he could ever have wanted, immortality, magic and all the time in the world to search for all those delicious dark secrets and in return all he had to do was hack systems for Rory, unlife couldn't be better.
And so it went. But, two things would change that. The first was leaning Technomancy, Angus had to trade a lot to learn it and made it his first priority to learn it and exploit it for Rory. The second was the death of Rory, which came in the form of black clad vampire assassins sent, he would later discover by Lady Anne Bowesley, the new Prince of London.
Personality: Loud, vociferous and often crude; he is charming in a punk kind of way with the ladies and belligerent as hell with the chaps. He likes nothing so much as a good old fashioned fight, and he is often mistaken for a Brujah.
Position: As the lowest ranking apprentice in the chantry, Angus is in charge of supervising the ghouls, disciplining the Gargoyles and overseeing the drudge work associated with Thaumaturgic experimentation.
